Abstract

The section examines the impact of payment card implementation on the development of cashless transactions and the improvement of economic management efficiency at both the national and enterprise levels. It highlights that, in the context of the digital transformation of the economy and the globalization of financial markets, payment cards have become a key instrument for modernizing Ukraine’s payment infrastructure. Their use facilitates financial operations for the population and businesses, increases the transparency of cash flows, reduces the scale of the shadow economy, and strengthens the country’s financial security. For enterprises, the expansion of card payments helps reduce operational costs, accelerate financial flows, and improve resource management. At the macroeconomic level, it contributes to national economic stability, broadens the tax base, and fosters investment and innovative development within the financial sector.
