Restoration of the trust to law as a recognition of the integrity of the valuable basis of relationship between Ukraine and the European Union

Abstract

The monograph chapter addresses the issue of restoring trust in law as a key regulator of social relations. It is substantiated that the effectiveness of the state apparatus and the proper implementation of legal principles and norms depend not only on the quality of public authorities’ performance but also on the level of legal and political consciousness within society. Special attention is paid to the importance of the value-based content of legal culture and citizens’ social culture as a foundation for building trust in law. It is emphasized that raising the level of legal awareness is an essential prerequisite for strengthening the rule of law, ensuring the effective functioning of the legal system, and promoting the stable development of modern Ukrainian society.

У розділі монографії досліджено проблему відновлення довіри до права як ключового регулятора суспільних відносин. Обґрунтовано, що ефективність функціонування державного апарату та належна реалізація принципів і норм права залежать не лише від якості діяльності органів публічної влади, а й від рівня правової та політичної свідомості суспільства. Особливу увагу приділено значенню ціннісного наповнення правової культури та соціальної культури громадян як основи формування довіри до права. Наголошено, що підвищення рівня правосвідомості є важливою передумовою зміцнення правопорядку, ефективного функціонування правової системи та стабільного розвитку сучасного українського суспільства.
