The section examines the key factors driving the development of payment card operations and tax security as essential components of Ukraine’s post-war economic recovery. Ensuring sustainable recovery requires a comprehensive approach that integrates financial stabilization, the stimulation of economic activity, and the protection of economic security. Within this framework, the expansion of payment card usage and the strengthening of tax security play an important role in increasing the transparency of financial flows, reducing the shadow economy, and enhancing management efficiency at both macroeconomic and microeconomic levels. Payment cards, as a central element of modern financial infrastructure, promote the growth of cashless payments, broaden access to financial services for individuals and businesses, and enhance the speed and convenience of transactions. Their development in the post-war period is particularly significant, as it helps lower the costs associated with cash circulation, strengthens financial discipline, and provides valuable data sources for monitoring and analyzing economic processes.
