Brief overview essay (Ukrainian) Every entrepreneurial activity is not promising when its financial result is negative and is not outlined by positive growth dynamics. That is why the manager's attention is more focused on the company's profitability indicators and the amount of profit received. Therefore, in order to create an optimal level of profitability for the company's managers, it is necessary to carefully study the essence and content of this concept precisely in making well-thought-out management decisions regarding its increase. A set of general and specific scientific methods were used during the completion of the thesis: financial and economic analysis, graphic, statistical, grouping, economic-statistical, method of summarizing research results, methods of analysis and synthesis. Data from statistical reporting, in particular, from the company's accounting reports, were used to obtain analytical information.
