Оn the use of Algorithms in Teaching Probability Theory

Abstract

The monograph chapter examines methodological approaches to teaching probability theory through the use of algorithms for solving typical problems. Particular attention is paid to the application of the classical definition of probability, the addition and multiplication theorems of probability, and the Bernoulli scheme in educational and practical problem-solving. The proposed algorithms are aimed at developing students’ probabilistic thinking, logical reasoning skills, and a deeper understanding of fundamental concepts and methods of probability theory. The study substantiates the effectiveness of the algorithmic approach as a means of improving the quality of mathematical education and enhancing learners’ problem-solving competencies.

У розділі монографії досліджено методичні підходи до навчання теорії ймовірностей із використанням алгоритмів розв’язування типових задач. Розглянуто особливості застосування класичного означення ймовірності, теорем додавання та множення ймовірностей, а також схеми Бернуллі під час розв’язування практичних і навчальних завдань. Запропоновані алгоритми спрямовані на формування в здобувачів освіти стійких навичок імовірнісного мислення, розвиток логічних умінь та підвищення ефективності засвоєння основних понять і методів теорії ймовірностей. Обґрунтовано доцільність використання алгоритмічного підходу як засобу вдосконалення математичної підготовки учнів і студентів.
