Change management as a tool for improving the efficiency of investment project assessment

Abstract

The theses substantiate the feasibility of integrating change management into the investment project evaluation process as a tool for enhancing its effectiveness under conditions of high uncertainty. The limitations of traditional financial evaluation methods, which are static in nature and fail to account for the dynamics of the external environment, are demonstrated. It is proposed to consider investment project evaluation as a continuous process that accompanies the entire project life cycle and is implemented through mechanisms of dynamic reassessment and managerial flexibility. The role of change management as a proactive instrument for strategic investment decision-making is substantiated.

У тезах доповіді обґрунтовано доцільність інтеграції управління змінами в процес оцінки інвестиційних проєктів як інструменту підвищення її ефективності в умовах високої невизначеності. Доведена обмеженість традиційних фінансових методів оцінювання, що мають статичний характер і не враховують динаміку зовнішнього середовища. Запропоновано розглядати оцінку інвестиційного проєкту як безперервний процес, що супроводжує весь життєвий цикл проєкту та реалізується через механізми динамічної переоцінки й управлінської гнучкості. Обґрунтовано роль управління змінами як проактивного інструменту прийняття стратегічних інвестиційних рішень.
