Вплив засобів синхронної комунікації (чат, відеоконференції) на якість навчання на платформі Moodle

Abstract

Досліджено вплив інструментів синхронної комунікації (чатів та відеоконференцій) на якість освітнього процесу в системі Moodle. За допомогою методів аналізу, порівняння та узагальнення наукових праць розглянуто особливості реалізації дистанційного навчання в Україні. З’ясовано, що попри значні можливості для взаємодії, платформа Moodle не має вбудованого повноцінного модуля для відеозв'язку. Проаналізовано сервіси, які можуть бути інтегровані в систему: BigBlueButton, Zoom, Google Meet та Jitsi. Визначено, що оптимальним вибором для забезпечення синхронної комунікації в освітньому середовищі є сервіс Zoom завдяки його багатофункціональності, зручності та кросплатформності. Доведено, що інтеграція чатів і систем відеоконференцій позитивно впливає на якість дистанційної освіти, підвищуючи її доступність, інтерактивність та ефективність взаємодії між учасниками.The article analyzes the impact of synchronous communication tools, specifically chats and videoconferencing, on the quality of the educational process within the Moodle platform. Using methods of analysis, comparison, and generalization of scientific literature, the features of distance learning implementation in Ukraine are examined. It is established that while Moodle offers extensive options for interaction, it lacks a fully integrated, comprehensive videoconferencing module. The study evaluates external services that can be integrated into the platform, including BigBlueButton, Zoom, Google Meet, and Jitsi. Zoom is identified as the optimal choice for ensuring synchronous communication due to its versatility, user-friendliness, and cross-platform accessibility. The findings conclude that the integration of chats and videoconferencing systems positively affects the educational process, enhancing its accessibility, interactivity, and the overall efficiency of cooperation between participants.
