Внесок українських науковців в розвиток теорії ймовірності

Abstract

У тезі розглянуто сутність теорії ймовірностей як важливої галузі математичної науки, що вивчає закономірності випадкових подій і випадкових величин. Висвітлено основні етапи становлення та розвитку теорії ймовірностей, її місце серед математичних дисциплін і значення для сучасної науки. Особливу увагу приділено внеску Андрія Колмогорова у формування аксіоматичних основ теорії ймовірностей. Проаналізовано роль теорії ймовірностей у розв'язанні практичних завдань, зокрема в економіці, фінансах та прикладній математиці. Обґрунтовано важливість вивчення теорії ймовірностей у процесі підготовки майбутніх фахівців економічного профілю.

The thesis examines the essence of probability theory as an important branch of mathematical science that studies the patterns of random events and random variables. The main stages of the formation and development of probability theory, its place among mathematical disciplines, and its significance for modern science are highlighted. Particular attention is paid to the contribution of Andrey Kolmogorov to the formation of the axiomatic foundations of probability theory. The role of probability theory in solving practical problems, particularly in economics, finance, and applied mathematics, is analyzed. The importance of studying probability theory in the training of future specialists in economics is substantiated.
