Відродження концепту «Міжмор’я» в контексті подолання російської експансії

Abstract

The article analyzes the main foreign policy vectors of the Ukrainian state: European, European, and Southeastern. Attention is focused on the development of the southeastern geopolitical direction through the practical implementation of the "Intermarium" concept in the face of international challenges. The idea of creating a Baltic-Black Sea Union was supported by a number of Ukrainian and foreign figures: Josef Piłsudski, Siegfried Meyerowitz, Mykhailo Hrushevsky, Simon Petliura, Tadeusz Goluwko, Wladyslaw Sikorski, Jaroslaw Kaczynski, and others. It is noted that the implementation of the Intermarium project will have significant geopolitical, economic and socio-cultural advantages. A strong alliance of the minor states of Central and Eastern Europe would be an adequate response to the expansion of the agrarian European empire, which is dangerous for all European countries, but especially for Ukraine, as Russian geopoliticians are trying to prevent the emergence of an independent Ukrainian state, emphasizing that its emergence was accidental.
