Abstract

The purpose of the work is to determine the main factors of the development of international capital markets and their role in ensuring the sustainable development of the national economy. The work tasks are: - to clarify the essence of the concept of "international movement of capital"; - determine the conditions for the emergence and functioning of international capital markets; - identify the main trends of international investment flows; - analyze the dynamics and structure of international capital flows; - characterize the main directions of influence of international capital movements on national economies; - to propose ways to improve the functioning of international capital markets. The study showed that one of the characteristics of the world economy at the current stage is growing financial globalization. This indicates that globalization changes the development of national economies and forms a supranational space in which international capital flows operate. As a result of the globalization of capital markets, financial and investment schemes are implemented today
