Abstract

The study investigates the effectiveness of improving special physical training of hand-to-hand combat athletes through CrossFit-based methods within the training process. An 8-week mesocycle program incorporating functional, interval, and high-intensity training complexes aimed at developing speed-strength abilities and special endurance was designed and implemented. The pedagogical experiment demonstrated statistically significant improvements in physical fitness indicators of the experimental group compared to the control group (p < 0.05–0.001). The obtained results confirm the feasibility of integrating adapted CrossFit methods into the system of special physical training of hand-to-hand combat athletes
