Today, in the context of global information transformations, there are also trendy changes in contemporary art, in particular screen art - the traditional television and cinema have been supplemented by the latest online and multimedia forms. The development of networked communications and digital technologies not only increases the audience's interest in documentaries, but also enriches its language with new means of expression and expands the palette of directorial techniques driven by innovations in filming, editing and set design. It is the technological improvement and simplification of the process of documentary and newsreel filming that has become one of the main factors in the active introduction of documentary into the screen art space. Digital video editors have also made the editing and toning stage much easier and enriched with effects, animation, graphics and other visual elements. And the development of virtual and augmented reality technologies has opened up new opportunities for creating immersive documentary experiments, which allow viewers to integrate into the world of the story presented with a greater degree of emotional reception.
