Abstract

The article addresses current issues of ensuring national security in the context of the rapid development of international air transportation. The role of advance passenger information as a tool for countering terrorism, transnational crime, and illegal movement of goods is analyzed. The main tasks of border and customs control services at airports in preventing threats to state security and protecting the economic interests of the state are outlined, taking into account international obligations.
