Abstract

A practice-oriented approach involves the use of a practical component together with a theoretical one, which will strengthen the professional component of the educational process. That is, the content structure of the educational and professional program should contribute to the graduate's adaptation to his future activities in the field of public management and administration. The implementation of such an approach requires the creation of an appropriate environment in which the academic and practical components of professional training are balanced, and where students are involved in the creation of practice-oriented projects as a result of individual/collective activity according to clearly defined rules. When implementing a practice-oriented approach, it is worth being careful about establishing the ratio of lecture, practical, and individual 10 lessons so that this does not lead to the future specialist's inability to correctly perform the assigned tasks. The teaching of disciplines should be built in the format of cases, since case tasks involve the consideration of practical situations and the solution of the problems posed. Practice-oriented training forms professional competencies in students and allows the future specialist to act more effectively in various situations in the public sphere.
