Синкретичність сатиричних зображальних жанрів публіцистики

Abstract

The evolution of approaches to evaluation of the role of visual facilities in journalism is traced. The understanding of the concept of “pictorial genre of publicism” is specified, formal semantic and functional descriptions of pictorial satiric genres are clarified. The author proves the expediency of making out the sub- group of pictorial satiric genres in the group of satiric genres, the former being heterogeneous by the means of satiric character creation.
