Abstract

In the article the relevance of research value aspects of intercultural communication as a factor in the consolidation of modern society in the context of globalization. Considered Definitions of "Intercultural Communication" and analyzed historical cut its study. The analysis of the role of intercultural component of linguistic identity in the sense of socio-cultural reality. Determined that communication exists, provided there is any dialogue of cultures, realized actors - representatives of at least two different cultures - speakers of two different languages.
