Конкурентна політика як драйвер стартап-інновацій: порівняльний аналіз України та країн G7

Abstract

The study examines the role of competition policy as a driver of startup innovation development in Ukraine and presents a comparative analysis of startup ecosystems in Ukraine and the G7 countries. Current trends in high-tech startups, including artificial intelligence, blockchain technologies, and ESG projects, are identified, along with the key factors affecting their sustainability and efficiency. The international experience of the G7 regarding state regulation, financial incentives, and infrastructure development for startups is analyzed. Major obstacles to the Ukrainian startup ecosystem are revealed, including limited access to financing, insufficient government support, and imperfect legal frameworks. The role of public policy and regulatory initiatives in stimulating innovation and enhancing enterprise competitiveness is examined. It is concluded that adapting G7 best practices while considering national specifics can ensure the longterm sustainability of Ukraine’s startup ecosystem and foster the growth of the country’s innovation potential.
