Визначення місця України в міжнародних інноваційних рейтингах

Abstract

У статті розглянуто місце України в міжнародних інноваційних рейтингах. Особливу увагу зосереджено на двох рейтингах, а саме: Глобальний індекс інновацій (GII) та Індекс глобальної конкурентоспроможності (GCI). Як показало дослідження Україна займає досить низькі позиції в цих рейтингах, що свідчить про низьку конкурентоспроможність економіки країни. Для зростання економіки України необхідно провести цілеспрямовану інноваційну політику зі сторони держави, оскільки саме інновації є тою рушійною силою, яка допоможе піднятися в міжнародних рейтингах та підвищити конкурентоспроможність економіки України.

The article considers the place of Ukraine in international innovation ratings. Particular attention is focused on two rankings, namely, the Global Index of Innovation (GII) and the Global Competitiveness Index (GCI). As the research showed, Ukraine has rather low position in these ratings, which indicates the low competitiveness of the country's economy. For the growth of Ukraine's economy, it is necessary to pursue a purposeful innovation policy on the part of the state, since it is innovations that are the driving force which will help to rise in international ratings and increase the competitiveness of Ukraine's economy.
